Hi! I’m Tori. I’m a freelance makeup artist and beauty specialist, and I absolutely love what I do. I truly believe that we all have a look that celebrates our individuality, and I have an innate ability to find that look… for everyone. I often say that one of the most rewarding things about my work is that I get to make people feel great about themselves – and that’s just as empowering for me as it is for them.

I do have my own distinctive style, but I’m continuously experimenting with new techniques and a wide range of new looks. And I’m always on top of the industry’s latest trends and newest products.

I have a professional approach to what I do, yet my personality is completely disarming. I’ll make you feel like you’ve invited your best friend over to make you look beautiful!

My Inspiration

My inspiration often derives from what’s hot in the world of makeup and beauty – new trends, new products and new techniques. I’m always trying to learn new and creative ways to achieve certain looks. And, I’m also known for using lots of color in my looks. I love seeing which colors are trending in fashion, then incorporating the palettes into makeup looks that tie in perfectly with what you’re wearing. I’m really big on matching my own outfits with my makeup, so l love to do the same for my clients – and they love it, too! But, what’s most inspiring to me is making my clients happy and building long-lasting relationships with them. It’s the reason why I truly love what I do!

My Work Experience

I’ve been a freelance makeup artist and beauty specialist for more than 5 years, building my reputation, skillset and client base during that time. I’ve worked at Louis Christian Robert John Salon & Spa in Cherry Hill, New Jersey for 3 years assisting salon owner/partner, Robert Guerriero, and doing makeup, lash and brow tinting, lash lifts and waxing for the salon’s clients. I’m now working at Soffiato Via in Moorestown, NJ doing the same things and I’m loving it! Over the last 5 years, I’ve done more than 20 weddings and I’ve been the makeup artist for the Runway for the Cure Cancer Benefit for 2018, 2019 and 2020. I’ve also done the makeup for a segment on Renaissance Living with Denise Pereau and I’ve worked with Adrienne Dara Salon doing makeup for their hair classes. Most recently, I spent an entire month in LA doing makeup for photo shoots, including a fashion shoot for Achilles Clothing and multiple shoots for Indonesian fashion and celebrity photographer, Reinhardt Kenneth. As I grow my freelance business, my goal is to add the entertainment industry to my expertise, working with models and celebrities on print and TV advertising as well as TV and film projects.
